First and foremost it is important to find a saddle for sale that it will fit the horse properly comfortable to rider also. When buying saddles, you should know what is the difference between English saddles is and western saddles for sale .the difference between the western saddles  and English saddles  is the horn present in western saddle due to this western saddle is heavy whereas English saddle is light weight. But question may arise for you which saddle is best for riding? Since western saddles are made with comfort of the horse as well as the rider in mind. There are  various activities done using  this saddle like polo, dressage, jumping and racing .in English riding  the rider  holds one reign in  each hand and  instructs the  horse to gently by pulling other reign hence this applies a pressure to a bit in the horse mouth. But whereas in case of western style the riders hold both reigns in one hand and instruct the horse to turn by shifting their weight or by lying the reigns against the horse's nec.

The western saddles are larger and designed for hard-riding cowboys. Western saddles are larger   so that weight is distributed over larger area of horse's back. The western saddle is made up of rawhide because western saddles are used in cattle drives so that horse should not get tired quickly.

Cantles which are used in rear side of the saddles are available in saddle shop. There are various types of  western saddles that are designed to suit almost all horses 1) all event western saddle  which is comfortable and has deep seat and has fairly tall cantle  and it is  typically quite heavy  and has horn ,tree and rigging  constructed solid and swells lower  than cutter saddles  hence it is slightly  greater than  roping saddles. 2) all round western saddle also known as Ranch (area of landscape) saddle these types of saddles are used for accomplishing the work in   grazing livestock  such as cattle or sheep these type of western saddle is designed in such a way that it is even and has cushioned seating for  convenience  with comfort and also has high horn  and wooden tree. 3) trail or pleasure western saddles these type of saddles are frequently used  by quite few riders .it might either be for long time or short time  period, it  is often lighter weightier than any other saddles  and generally has padded seats and large  stirrup thread  and has thinner horn ,4) Barrel horse racing western saddle  in this  type the rider has to maintain balance  while the horse is performing  stunts, tough turns and high speed runs. This type of saddle is used to increase rider's stability and control. 5) Cutting western saddles are indicated for more advanced riders 6) Reining western saddles 7) Roping western saddles where atypical cowboy roping a calf to the horn of that saddle. 8) Show western saddles these types of saddles contain tooled leather and several precious metals decorating parts 9) Equitation western saddle. In pony riding English saddle is used .there are different types of pony saddles are jumping saddle, dressage saddle, showing saddle, western saddle  used as working saddle. Even western saddle is used and types are Barrel racing saddle and endurance saddle and show saddle.
